King Saha
Probably the video with the best storyline this year. It is superbly scripted. There is Zakayo, the market collector that is giving vendors restless days and nights. Zakayo is not a cool bebe as many would have thought.
King Saha emerges as the messiah, the guy on his way to deliver justice to the people. He confronts Zakayo and strips him of his titles. A market court finds Zakayo guilty and is relieved of his duties. The beauty with this music video is that it speaks even in silence.
You do not need to know Luganda to follow through with it. It tells a story that invites one to keep re-watching it. It is a memorable feature in a viewer’s head. And if there is a moment art was proud, it must be proud of King Saha and the Zakayo video. But would the Bebe be cool with the video? Maybe not!
