Marina
The lesson in this video is that multiple scenes do not always enhance the music video. For Ndokose, one scene was perfected, and then torn down by the scenes that followed. The indoor scene with Marina lying on the fruits table is palatable for the eyes. It could be the colour grading that does the magic, or the whole scene lighting. But it speaks of luxury, beauty, romance. And the costumes to support the effect.
Ykee Benda and Marina could have made most of this indoor scene. When things shift to the outdoors, then the flaws glare through. The vintage car in the background makes no sense, those pavers just spoil the scene and the night lighting fails. There is no redemption with the dance choreography let alone with the extra darkened night scene. Less could have been more for this music video. The problem here was doing extra.
