Ugandan rapper The Mith returns with uplifting single ‘Don’t Worry’

The Mith

The Mith, whose real name is Tom Mayanja, has released a new single titled ‘Don’t Worry’, produced by Melanin Boy. The song is a fun and exciting piece of work that showcases The Mith’s articulate singing in Luganda in the first verse.

According to The Mith, the song is receiving positive reviews, and he is thrilled about the response. “It’s a fun and exciting jam, and people are responding to it in a positive way. I’m excited about it,” he said.

Notably, the song features input from Navio and Yesse Oman Rafiki, who assisted in writing the first verse – a first for The Mith. “Navio and Yesse Oman Rafiki helped with the writing of the first verse, which is something I’ve never done before,” The Mith revealed.

The catchy chorus promises, “I am on a mission for your love…don’t worry…I take you to a place you’ve never heard…it’s a promise.”

The music video, directed by Adriane Series, features The Mith and Navio as car wash attendants at a washing bay in Bukoto Kisaasi, adding a playful touch to the song’s message.

Overall, ‘Don’t Worry’ is an uplifting and enjoyable addition to The Mith’s discography.”
