It is the kind of video that would make sense with a glass of whiskey or wine. It is the kind you watch on a lonely heart night. When you are thinking of him or her, the one that sings in your heart. The video starts off with a wide shot of A Pass around an unlit fireplace made of a stonewall.
The magic of the video is the combination of the elements. The fire (with the warm lights and the burning flames of the lamps), the earth (the wood and stone), and the metal component. It is sold to the elements, you experience A Pass in his original state. There is no attempt to make him up. It invites you into his soul, to identify with the song.
The rest of the video is close-up shots of these different elements. I loved that flame burning next to that art of two lovers. The irony is the ‘smile’ décor as all this goes on. Nice, and simple to imbibe!
