Ray G finally speaks out on differences with promoter Nobert

Ray G

Several days after the events, promoter Nobert, who is also behind Ray G’s upcoming concert at Cricket Oval on May 10 came out and threatened to pull out due to breach of contract, Ray G has finally come out and assured his fans that the concert is happening.

In a video clip, Ray G distanced himself from the promoter’s accusations and assured his fans that they were looking into the matter.

“Due to miscommunication, the promoter made several or some statements that we would completely want to distance ourselves from and we affirm to you that we are handling the issue. I wish to reaffirm to all our sponsors and all my fans that we are all gearing up for a great experience at Lugogo Cricket Oval,” he says.

The Make A Way artist further thanked all his supporters, partners, and sponsors who have come on board to make sure that his show is a reality.

In an earlier audio clip, Norbert said that Ray G had breached the contract by collecting money through MTN, which is offering tickets at a subsidized price as sponsorship, which money goes straight to Ray G’s account.

“I am going to teach Ray G a lesson he will never forget. He found me in Kampala, I did not find him in Mbarara to organize his show. He is going to know that I am Nobert Events. Do you know the money they get on MTN that goes directly to his mobile money account? What I ask myself? is whether he is the organizer and I am the artist,” a frustrated Nobert said.
