Three years ago, Nina Roz introduced fellow singer Daddy Andre at her parent’s home in Mbarara.
The ceremony that was meant to be a secret ended up in public after several pictures were leaked by someone who attended the function.
However, the relationship did not last so long as reports about their separation surfaced barely six months after the introduction ceremony.
But in a recent interview, Nina Roz opened up about the whole introduction bit. She said she was in it because it was what she wanted at the time.
“I didn’t know what was right at the time and I wouldn’t want to blame anyone. I was coming out of depression and I wanted to run somewhere safe. Where I can be with someone I can trust with my career, my life and my dreams,” Nina Roz opened up.
According to her, the music industry is full of uncertainties as the music stars have to deal with so many people whose intentions they can’t tell, although with Daddy Andre, she felt safer.
Asked whether she regrets ever dating him, the Billboard Kipande artiste said he was a “good person” who taught her a lot and prepared her to be “the woman” she is now.
