What would you do to increase your worth? And I am not talking about the usual moves like finding a job or investing. I am talking about extremes, stuff you wouldn’t do ordinarily. For Izek (Yehuda Levia, a Jewish immigrant), his extreme measure is relocating to America and quitting gangster life at home.
He has hope of living the American dream which involves dating any girl he fancies, riding the latest sports car and of course having a lot more cash than he needs.
Together with his friend they start a garage. But Izek’s past creeps up and again it threatens to destroy his family. To save them, he has to borrow either from his gangster ways or his current clean life.
But still, the movie’s plot is not unique and it is also rather predictable. But it features a different type of gangsters who compromise. It is wrong to like bad guys but some of them make it hard to hate them. The acting and setting is good. Each actor suits their character and the fact that it is based on a true story adds more credit to it.
