In July this year, employees at Daily Monitor offices were surprised to see Dembe FM presenter Bina Baibe parking a white Subaru Legacy car. A lot of questions were asked on who the owner might be but she emerged, she had upgraded.
However, a month into the Subaru, the Mubeezi presenter is already complaining. She says she misses her Vitz and is contemplating on getting it back from the person she sold it too.
“I really miss my Vitz. Its fuel consumption was so friendly unlike this Subaru. I used to spend less than Shs100,000 every week on fuel but with this Subaru, I am spending much more,” she said. “I am even thinking of getting it back from the person I sold it to,” she added.
Bina Baibe drove her Vitz for seven years and was always criticized by fellow presenters for driving a car ‘shorter’ than her.
