Khalifa excited after being greeted by Bobi Wine

Khalifa Aganaga

Musician Sadat Mukiibi alias Khalifa Aganaga is over the moon after receiving warm greetings from fellow musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.

The “Oyitangayo” hit maker took his excitement to Facebook where he revealed that he had met Bobi Wine and his family at Entebbe International Airport. According to Khalifa, he was amazed with the kind of love expressed by Bobi Wine who warmly greeted him with a big smile.

“Am really so happy, I felt like the prodigal son in the Bible,” Aganaga narrated.

The musician further mentioned that he was left wondering what he could do to express to Bobi Wine that he really appreciated the love he showed to him despite their political history.

“Should I compose for him a song,” “What can I do? I need some advice,” the musician asked his followers on Facebook.

“Hahaha, munange (my friend) I decided to stick to love and positivity because hate and negativity are very heavy burdens to bear,” replied Bobi Wine in the comment section.

The CEO Bad Character Records responded to the Ghetto gladiator saying, “Bobi Wine, this is a very big lesson to me and all Ugandans for real, let me return home. Home will always be home.”

In 2020, Khalifa was among the artistes who openly identified as members of the National Unity Platform party led by Mr Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu shortly after the party was launched. The musician was ambitious about representing Rubaga South constituency in 11th Parliament but his ambition was cut short after being denied the party ticket something that left him furious. He later ditched NUP for the National Resistance Movement. Ever since Khalifa’s political ambitions were foiled, he became a strong critic of Bobi Wine and activities of NUP.
