Gadget: Huawei Ascend Y 100

Complete with a sleek swerve, many a youth’s lifestyle is today defined by the type of phone they possess.

Thus phone manufacturers have taken advantage of this and they are beginning to define their phone products based on a certain target group.

A look at the smart phones available on Uganda’s market tells of how youth have become a major target and one of the largest clientele for phone manufacturers.

The Huawei Ascend Y 100 gives a perfect sneak pick into the lifestyle of today’s youth. Complete with a fancy on and off animation, dynamic music player, large apps portfolio, good Wifi manager, social networking managers and an online album, the Ascend Y 100 offers the user a great experience.

The phone’s premium touch panels deliver one of the best Android experience with its chipset being key in the delivery of the fastest processing speed when compared with the other vendors in the “2.8” segment.

The Ascend Y 100 has perfect competition in other phone series including Samsung Galaxy Mini and Samsung Galaxy Pocket, among others.

The above phones have many similar functions but with slight differences especially in apps and data content.

According to Light Reading’s Ray, the phone, supported by Huawei’s advanced telecom infrastructure is one of the world’s most popular smartphones coming after Samsung and the iPhone respectively. But worry not because this is no iphone when it comes to price. It will cost about Shs250,000.
