Kalenjins set to gather to celebrate peaceful coexistence through talent

Ugandans and Kenyans who belong to the Kalenjin community will tomorrow gather to bridge peaceful coexistence and support talent-driven initiatives.

The concert seeks to use music and art to root for positive cultural values and inclusivity in society.

Dubbed Kalenjin Love Concert, season 2 will be held at Lovisa Gardens in Kireka on Namungongo Road, the organisers say all is ripe for a day of colour and glamour.

The concert, which is pioneered by musician Brian Rotich, aka Braen Lee, is expected to pull different artists from Sebei Sub-region and Kenya.

The team is chaired by Victor Chemo and a council of elders headed by Kiprotich George Cheywa and Ambrose Ayoyi. “We spread God’s love and unity through talent, say music, sports, and athletics,’’ Mr Chemo Said.

He thanked all the stakeholders, including J&PK real estate company who took up the first sponsorship, Chelogoi Motors, and Sipi Contoursplus among others.
