Madrat and Chiko, comedians who hail from Mukono have been on a journey of proving themselves to the public. Now the duo feel they are strong enough to have a show.
The comedians will have their first show dubbed ‘Nseko-Buseko’ at Theatre Labonita next month. While many would prefer to invest that money or frankly, pay themselves, Madrat and Chiko have decided that the proceeds from the shows will all go to a charity organisation in Mukono known as Hand in Hand.
“We realised that money from one show will not be enough. We therefore decided to use all the proceeds from the different shows we are having in different districts to give to a charity home called Hand in Hand in Mukono,” said Madrat.
The duo will be performing in six places including Jinja, Mbarara, Masaka, Mukono, Fort Portal and Mbale with other comedians like MC Kapale, Mariachi, Snake and Zoro, Jaja Wasswa and Afande Kerekere performing as well.
