Patoranking announces album release in Uganda

Despite being held at Entebbe airport for over an hour for indiscipline, Nigeria’s music icon Patoranking last Tuesday became the first foreign artiste to release an album in Uganda. Patoranking, famed for songs such as ‘My Woman’ and ‘Daniela Wine’ released the ‘God over everything’ album at a press conference at Hotel Africana. The artiste said the main reason why Uganda has been one of the countries he decided to launch his album is because it his second home and that he wants his music to first be embraced here before anywhere else. “Uganda is full of talent and not because I’m here but you guys are the best dancehall country on the continent and because I’m a reggae artiste who does mostly dancehall, I would like from now onwards my music to first be embrace by Uganda before anyPatorankingwhere else.” He also explained that the ‘God over everything’ album is based on the fact that whatever one does, God is always in control.
