The track: Gwenafunye – Esther Nabatanzi

There is a way Tusker Project Fame contestants tend to disappear after the show. Well, looks like Esther Nabantanzi from Tusker Project Fame 2014 is breaking out of her shell. Her new song, Gwenafunye will probably be her breakthrough. Done with a slow band-like rhythm, the song is about a girl who gets a man, possibly for marriage, after a long time of searching, or being searched. For the common Ugandan, the song is all about love and one can easily nod their head to the rhythm. But into the song, you can develop goose bumps after it strikes you that the song has a feel of Naava (also a Tusker Project Fame), but her voice is definitely original. The lyrics are simple and can easily be understood, and the sound is amazing! The bass on the track hits home, without coming off as cluttered. Generally, the song is one of those laid back tracks that you can listen to, especially for the ladies. Is Nabatanzi a budding talent? Definitely! And she is most likely to make it far if she finds her niche and does her thing. The song already has a video produced by Hasz media entertainment.
