Malembe sees off 2023 in style

One thing Malembe Lifestyle has achieved over the years is creating experiences that people talk about for days.

From events such as concerts and exclusive parties, they have mastered the art of gathering people, and at the look of things, their events are plush as well.

On New Year’s Eve, leading into 2024, Malembe partnered with I&M Bank to throw a party aptly called The Countdown 23 to usher in the New Year.

The annual meet attracts the cream of Kampala’s nightlife, with an unmatched atmosphere, for a unique premium year-end celebration.

The event had a decorated lineup of emcees and DJs that ensured guests enjoyed the last part of the year.

Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall proved to be a small venue as the partiers overwhelmed the space for the party, whose momentum usually picks up after the midnight bell.

However, since the mood and music were good, people who had started arriving as early as 6 p.m. had been dancing and locking for about five hours; in fact, some of them struggled to leave the dancefloor for the fireworks.

The energy on the dance floor was contagious, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to celebrate. As the clock struck midnight, the fireworks lit up the night sky, adding an extra touch of magic to the already unforgettable evening.

The Fenon Events-produced blue event had a feel of a tropical and island party that easily invited one to a party. The DJ’s booth, unlike last year, was at the extreme end, where they usually have the stages for ordinary concerts.

But what made the production outstanding was the fact that they easily worked the graphics to match the music, mood, and atmosphere.

The synchronised light show that accompanied the music created a mesmerising visual spectacle, with vibrant colours dancing across the crowd. The event organisers also incorporated interactive elements, such as photo booths and games, to keep attendees engaged and entertained throughout the night.

The party went on until the morning.
