The iconic R&B group will be live in concert at the Yetu Festival launch and the announcement during a press conference at Serena Hotel Kampala.

Boyz II Men will perform in Kenya on June 10, before flying to Uganda for their first-ever concert in the country.

The group has always redefined popular music and creates timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations. They are also known for performing some of the most celebrated and best-known classics of the past two decades.

Tickets will only be available on mobile money and online starting Tuesday, May 9.

Kenya’s Sauti Sol will also curtain raise for the American group. When asked which Ugandan acts will also grace the stage, Capital Radio’s CEO Peter Mungoma said they are still contemplating which particular artiste to bring for this experience.

Boyz II Men is an American vocal harmony group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. They are currently a trio composed of baritone Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman.

Initially, there were four members including Michael Mc Cary who left the group in 2003 due to health issues which were eventually diagnosed as multiple sclerosis.
