Harmonize and Rayvanny shock fans with vulgar insults against each other on social media

Harmonize(L), Rayvanny (R)

The start of the week has been entertaining for East African music fans who love violence on the social media streets. Former Wasafi co-signees and ex-best-friends Harmonize and Rayvanny took to Instagram to blast each other with the most scathing insults they could find.

The two talented singers fell out after Harmonize, who had already left Wasafi, publicly revealed Rayvanny’s secretive desire to also leave the record label. The animosity reached its peak when Harmonize, who was dating actress Kajala Masanja, made sexual advances to Paula, Kajala’s daughter, who was dating Rayvanny at the time. This led to a fiery scandal in which a video of Harmonize’s manhood was leaked to social media — the ‘Inabana’ hitmaker acknowledged it was his genitalia in the viral video.

The beef had simmered for months, until Harmonize scorned musicians who keep singing about alcohol, not considering that many people do not drink, including the underage. Konde Boy added that those singers like to do so in the South African Amapiano style, failing to take advantage of other topics. This did not go well with Rayvanny, who just recently shot a music video for his ‘Nitongoze’ collabo with Wasafi boss Diamond Platnumz. Even though Harmonize did not mention any of them, Rayvanny believed this was a jab against him, so he hit back. The said song is about alcohol and is Amapiano.

Harmonize had never addressed Rayvanny directly in a war of words, electing to let Ibraah, signed under his record label, do the dirty work; but he could not help it this time round. In a back-and-forth about who has more money, who makes more hits, and who makes better music, Harmonize mentioned the viral video from earlier,

“You leaked my big d*** to the people so that I commit suicide, but I am still standing.” To which Rayvanny responded by denying any responsibility.

“I had nothing to do with your video; ask the person you sent it to. When you spent hours at the police station, trying to get me in prison for 30 years, is when I removed you from my list of friends. You even cried when Kajala asked you to drop the case.”

Vanny boy was not done with propelling rockets toward his nemesis,

“You paid Tsh 600 million to leave the label and cried to everyone; I paid Tsh 1.2 billion and I didn’t say anything. Stop bragging about a house you’re renting; try to own a house like me. I am better than you musically, and in terms of recognition internationally. I wrote your entire verse on our ‘Paranawe’ collabo. I even gave you the idea of 90% of your ‘Happy Birthday’ song. You keep insulting Diamond because it is the only way you can stay relevant.”

Harmonize was not willing to leave the war on the losing side, so he responded,

“If you have a house, show us where you park your car in it. And the only thing keeping you in Wasafi kissing Diamond’s a** is the contract with Ziiki Media. You don’t even own your masters. Leave and try, stay and die.”

All we can do is watch the developments and share them with you.
