Talk of Ugandan fashion and Abbas Kaijuka’s name will pop up somewhere. He has styled many celebrities, including Sheebah, Spice Diana, Winnie Nwagi and Vinka, and he also has a number of accolades to his name.
Now just as the fashion industry is regaining momentum after the Covid-19 lockdown, Abbas will be flying the Ugandan flag high this weekend in Kigali, Rwanda at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Kaijuka is the only Ugandan fashion designer invited to showcase and he will be unveiling his latest collection.
The fashion showcase started with a summit, then a musical event, a VIP cocktail reception will go down tonight and main shows tomorrow. Well done man!
