Four One One

Style from the Tanqueray brunch

POPPIN’: We are officially ousside and as we know Kampalans, their fashion game never goes on a break. There was a brunch in town at the weekend and we got served!

There are parties and then there is a Kampala party. Kampalans will party from the week on end, if it is necessary. But there is also no denying that this city does throw a great party. So, last weekend, Tanqueray organised the first edition of its green-themed brunch and let’s just say those in attendance did not come to play when it came to their fashion choices.

So, here is a breakdown of some of our favourite looks from the affair.

Look 1

Brunch dresscode is all about dressing the part, without being too serious about it. The idea here is to make just the right statement and that is what this guest did. Her green one-sleeved dress may have passed on for something basic. However, her mesh bottom made this quite the stunner!

Look 2

Colour is always a great way to nail any look, especially one that requires you to be outdoors. And that is what makes this red look a win in this case. The wide-legged pants detail is a very trendy pant option at the moment, and adding the halter neck top added the laid back effect this look needed.

Look 3

After Valentino’s pink-themed showcase at the just-concluded fashion week, we are seriously considering making pink the new black. And this look is more evidence as to why we love this. The look is gorgeous, and the platform heels, and the hat made for the perfect accessories!

Look 4

Brunch and prints are a match made in fashion heaven, which makes this ensemble a favourite. Your mini skirt and balloon sleeves top were a great match, and the little cute additions like your clutch and clear sandals are winning.
