10-year-old Athaan joins music industry with EP

Another youngster has joined the music industry, unlike his other peers, Top Shutter Athaan real name Ethan Mugabe is not a rapper. The singer has joined the music industry with an Extended Play (EP) and has released his first music video off his yet-to-be-released EP. The EP has three songs titled ‘Smile’, ‘ABC’ and ‘Yenze’.

Athaan is a talent that was discovered and is managed by Retro records and the partnership has so far yielded a video ‘Yenze’.

‘Yenze’ is a display of mature yet entertaining lyrics leaves alone the video that will leave you yearning for more.

Athaan describes himself as a simple boy from a humble background. “I hold love and passion for art just like a rainbow. I want to spread love colours to give hope and comfort and be an example to the future generation through art,” he said. He is aged 10 and is in P.5.

Athaan’s first release ‘Yenze’ was produced by producer Blessings and the video was shot by Dave Thymas.
