There is something special about Uganda. Most musicians who come down here either don’t want to leave or will always come back when an opportunity that pops up.
For those who can’t keep performing in Uganda, they make sure that they record songs with Ugandan artistes so that they have a connection to the pearl of Africa. Skales, a Nigerian musician has four collaborations with Ugandan artistes and three of those with only Beenie Gunter and he’s not about to stop because he has just collaborated with yet another Ugandan artiste known as Prince Omar on a song titled ‘Bikini’.
The song that was co-written by Skales and Daddy Andre who also produced it is dancehall jam and both artistes blended so well making it a good listen.
Known for his lavish lifestyle, Prince Omar’s videos are all of good quality and a force to reckon with. With this one, he hired the services of Sasha Vybz who is undoubtedly one of Uganda’s biggest cinematographer and he shot it from Kenya. According to a reliable source, the whole budget for the video was taken care of by Prince Omar.
Born Umar Mukose, prince Omar is known for investing millions in his music and just last month he went into history books after spending over shs10million during his ‘Timaya’ video premier at La’ Paronis.
