Most art and cultural enthusiasts have been wondering why the Uganda Museum was not tapping into musical and cultural events to promote the country’s art and Culture.
Apparently, House of Talent Uganda a local cultural troupe has created a monthly event dubbed HoT Cultural Connections where revelers , tourists and museum visitors will have a chance to witness the Ugandan culture being show-cased through Music, dance , poetry and storytelling.
Mr Jedidiah Andrew Ssebagala the proprietor of House of Talent explained that some stories will be purely practical where one will have to take part and experience the feel. “If we say culturally the Pot represented the fridge, one will have a chance to be served water from the pot in a gourd and made to seat on a back-cloth as it was in a past” Ssebagala adds
The inaugural show-case is set to happen tomorrow, 29th at 5PM at a fee.
