Rema Namakula
Before his Nkwegomba song was released, Kenneth Mugabi had totally different plans for the song – as a collaboration with Rema.
The plan did not come to fruition because, well… Rema Namakula played hide and seek for a good month or so until the boy gave up.
The song is now a hit and the latest we have is that while Kenneth Mugabi was there minding his business, Rema contacted him expressing intention to work on a project together. Had the Naki singer not been a humble guy, probably he would have given her a dose of her medicine but, no, Mugabi is not like that.
The two will be working on an Afro-Neo-Soul ballad that will be premiered at Mugabi’s upcoming album review in December.
We hear Rema has already recorded her part at Pyrets Beats Studio and we just cannot wait to hear what a blend of these two soulful voices will sound like.
