Roast and Rhyme, which has proved to be one of the best events on the social calendar is back. The event will happen on the 28th October at the usual Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo under the theme “Soul on Strings.”

This edition will feature performances by Aziz Azion, King Saha, Shifa Musisi and Kika Dance troupe.

As is the norm, the event will be off to an early start with gates opening at 1p.m. to allow those who would want to roast, to start early. There will be a farmers’ market at the venue for those who wish to buy meat, spices and condiments.

Roast and Rhyme is a quarterly picnic style event sponsored by Bell larger that gives Ugandans the opportunity to enjoy live Ugandan music with their friends and family. Tickets are being sold at 50k only.

This comes a few weeks after a massive successful music and anniversary celebration of Swangz Avenue that also had Jamaican sensation Tarrus Riley as the headlining artiste.
