Comedy duo Madrat and Chiko to separate after show

Comedians Madrat and Chiko on stage

We can’t say we saw this coming but information we received a few days ago is that comic duo Madrat and Chiko who are perhaps the biggest duo in comedy on Ugandan soil, are on the verge of break up.

The two are said to have fallen out a few weeks ago but because of their upcoming Nseko buseko event happening two weeks from now specifically on Friday 27 this month, they had to pause their break up until it’s done.

Like many break-ups in the industry, money has to do with their separation as they feel they are now too big to still do comedy as a duo.
According to a reliable source, the duo think it’s time for them to start doing things on a solo basis than as a duo and that might be happening soon.
When contacted, Chiko didn’t deny and neither did he accept the accusations but he just laughed it off. Madrat, in the same spirit, said we should leave them concentrate on the show because it is a VIP Show – the first of its kind. He however didn’t deny the allegations.
