What comes to mind when you hear the name Swangz Avenue? Irene Ntale and Winnie Nwagi or that it is a production house. Well, the Muyenga-based production house is starting something new this Sunday at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo in the Roast and Rhyme event.
Because it’s going to be the first of its kind in Uganda, Swangz CEO Benon wants it to have a lasting impression for those who will attend and what better way to do that than have Maddox Sematimba headline the event. “Maddox represents pure authentic music that live music lovers have not experienced in a longtime and this event will deliver the right environment to that kind of music,” Benon said.
The event which will also include other artistes such as Navio and Steve Keys, will see revellers carry their charcoal stoves and roast their own meat.
