Truth be told, Desire Luzinda has enjoyed unquantifiable fame in the past few months, more than ever before; thanks to her nude photos that were leaked by her jilted Nigerian lover Franklin Emuobor, last October.
Desire embraced her predicament and followed it with the release of her newest song Ekitone (Gift). And as people were busy trying to join the dots between Desire’s song and the nude photos, the singer has been busy making a killing. Her calendar has been littered with several shows, not to mention that her performance fees tripled.
And it was not just music promoters that saw the gold in Desire’s new fame, Capital Radio saw her potential and they made a move to have her join them at Kisementi.
Desire, formerly a presenter at WBS TV, speaks eloquently and she can get quite interactive especially in fields like entertainment, relationships and parenting.
It’s probably the above qualities, and her new fame, that attracted Capital Radio to offer Desire a slot. Rumour has it that she was offered a slot to host the Late Date show with Val Oketcho. However, the singer and her prospective employers are said to have failed on terms and conditions that majorly rotated around finances.
It’s said though, that Desire didn’t fully turn down the offer, but rather asked Capital FM management to give her some time to sort out a few things!
