Rival camps join hands to vote for Chameleone and Good Lyfe in World Music Awards

When Jose Chameleone sent us a text with a link to vote for him in the World Music Awards, we wondered what he was talking about.
But after checking out the link, we indeed confirmed that Chameleone had been nominated alongside big names across the world.
Before we could celebrate news of his nomination, our brothers from Good Lyfe also sent us a text urging us to vote for them in the World’s Best Group Category.

Unlike usual awards where the number of nominees is usually below 10 people per category, the World Music Awards has hundreds of nominees per category.
Chameleone will have to tussle it out with over 340 nominees in the World Best Male Artiste category, while 2013 BET nominees, Radio and Weasel are up against over 240 other groups, 12 of which are from Africa.

But while Ugandans are known to lose out whenever voting comes into play, different members of artistes fan groups have come together and are urging members of different groups to put beef and feelings aside and vote for Uganda.
Although, he was not nominated, Bebe Cool’s fans group Gagamel Phamily reloaded were the first to urge all music fans on Facebook to join hands and vote for Chameleone and Radio and Weasel.
To vote, go to worldmusicawards.com and browse for the relevant categories.
