Dead man down
In the ideal movie world, thrillers should either be action packed or intriguing. Dead Man Down though watchable to the end has none of this. Slack paced with too many tired twists, it doesn’t make for a good watch. At least not as a thriller, the main characters especially Beatrice (Noomi Rapace) though are quite unpredictable. It is one of the things that is likely to keep you watching, that and a few clever stunts here and there.
The story line is about a man, Victor (Colin Farrell) who is working for a criminal empire that killed his family with an aim to revenge. He comes up with plans on how to get rid of each of them. A hiccup in his plans forces him to act faster than he should. But even that is not exciting enough. It is an entire drag with nothing much to write home about.
