A new breed of people under the term “stylists” is growing way faster. Stylists shop and choose what someone puts on, especially celebrities.A celebrity stylist that has made a name for his great work is Kim Kibirige popularly known as Kim Swag. The dreadlocked, youthful Kim Swag is attached to Chameleone’s Leone Island crew and has been Chameleone’s stylist for the past four years. Kim Swag has also styled several artistes like Bobi Wine, Exodus and several other socialites.
And with his clientele growing by the day, Kim Swag recently decided to give a shot at making his own design. Kim Swag unveiled his first design at the Fashion Meets Music party held at Club Rouge recently.
He made a dress out of playing cards! Gorgeous is a perfect word to describe Kim’s it. We bumped into Kim at the weekend and he told us that although he unveiled the dress here, it is meant for a fashion show in Zambia.
“I was invited to be a guest designer/celebrity stylist at the Zambia Loves Fashion nite at the Book Cafe in Lusaka. I will showcase my creative dress. I just felt that the people at home should see it before I show it to the world.”
Kim Swag told us that the fashion show will be held on May 25 and it will feature several Zambian celebrities! Go Kim Swag!
