Duo P Square show confirmed for December

Psquare

We recently told you that celebrated Nigerian singing duo Peter and Paul Okoye were coming to Kampala for a concert. Yes? Now we would like to reliably inform you that P Square will be performing at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on Friday December 21, 2012.

On the contrary, according to our source P Square are not being brought in by Crown Beverages, to perform at the grand finale of their Moto Moto concert as rumors have been making rounds. The Nigerian brothers are being flown in by a UK-based promoter identified as Yvonne Wilson. Yvonne was in Uganda two weeks ago and met with Silverback Investments with whom she is partnering to do the concert. She paid for the venue (Lugogo Cricket Oval),” the source told us.

The source further revealed that Silverback Investments is trying their luck on getting a serious sponsor for the event. P-Square is currently rated by critics as the biggest music act from Africa; the duo’s latest hits include Chop My Money featuring Akon as well as Beautiful Onyinye on which they feature May bach music boss, rapper Rick Ross!
