The DVD:LEFT BEHIND

Left Behind

Left Behind

If you ever go to church, chances are that you have heard a religious leader say that the last days are near and the world is about to end. That is usually concluded with a call to action – to repent and give your life to Christ. In summary that is what the movie Left Behind sets out to do. But it takes it a notch higher by making it seem so real especially when watched at night.

During the scene where people vanish all over the world in the same way, you might actually get up to check if the people in the room next to you are still there. Buck Williams (Kirk Cameron) the main actor is a good addition to the overall effect of the movie.

He is so naive about God and this allows for the movie to explore what the Bible says about the end times, sending the intended message home. It is good food for thought. It has a couple of other movies that are continuations of this that show how hard life will be if you are left behind and opt to remain a Christian after the devil has taken control. Watch it.
