Diamond Platnumz returning to Uganda

Diamond Platnumz

Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has confirmed he will be performing in Kampala come next week. The singer who has quite a number of hit songs to his name like ‘African Beauty’, ‘Marry You’, ‘Tetema’, and ‘the one’ among others will be coming to perform in Uganda for the third time.

The two times he has been to Uganda, haven’t been a bed of roses. The first time being at cricket Oval and despite the fact that he was with Patoranking, the show was poorly attended.

The second time was during the KCCA carnival but the climax was not pleasant after machines were switched off due to time while he was still performing. The award winning artiste looks to redeem himself next Thursday during the comedy store event where he’s slated to be the headlining artiste.

Diamond has been booked to perform at UMA show grounds alongside Eric Omondi and their performance comes just a few weeks after Nigeria’s Klint Da Drunk shut the place down.

Others on the lineup will include Mariachi, King Saha, Senga Justine Nantume, King Saha, Snake and Zoro, Maulana and Rain and Kalela among others.
