‘Sugarcane’ singer Camidoh confirms his performance in Uganda

Ghanaian singer Raphael Kofi Attachie, alias Camidoh was supposed to perform in Uganda a few months back but his team pulled out at the last minute without any clear explanation.

The ‘Sugarcane’ artiste has however confirmed that he will be performing in Uganda on the 31st of this month during the Terminal Kampala event scheduled to take place at Cricket Oval.

The 28-year-old confirmed in a video drop that he posted on all his social media pages confirming his attendance.

“Hey guys my name is Camidoh and I will be live at the Terminal Kampala event on the 31st so be there,” he said.

The first two days of the event, the 30th and 31st will happen at Cricket Oval while the last day (1st) will be held at Skyz Hotel Naguru.

Apart from Camidoh, 9 other international artistes including Marioo from Tanzania and Dope Nation from Ghana will perform alongside Ugandans acts, Kataleya and Kandle, DJ Shiru, DJ Lito and DJ Maker Breaker will perform on Friday while day two will have Camidoh, Ya Elvis from France, Sha Sha from Zimbabwe and DJ Edu from Kenya. Ugandan acts on day two will include DJ Nimrod, DJ Zato, and Naselow Da Don.

January 1, is going to have performances from the South African Amapiano group Black Motion. DJs like Lochive from South Africa, DJ Bank robber, and Kash Pro from Uganda.

Tickets to the event are both online and physical and for each day, the tickets go for Shs50,000 early bird, and at the gate shs70,000 for ordinary and VIPs will go for shs150,000 as there will be no early bird tickets for the VIPs.

According to the organisers, the Terminal Kampala is an event to celebrate the Ugandan music industry with the help of international acts that will also come through and perform.
