Mampi insists on legal action against Ragga Dee

Zambian singer Mampi arrived in the country on Monday morning ahead of her show that was held yesterday. Mampi who was coming to Uganda for the second time, was shocked by the attention her second visit to the country had got her; thanks to KT promotions boss Musa Kavuma.

It should be noted that Mampi was in Uganda along with the Zambian team when Chipopolo buried the Uganda Cranes hopes of participating in the just concluded Africa Cup Of Nations competitions. However, then, Mampi was under obligations not to make any public appearance or perform in any night club! She still went to a few hangouts, but apart from former BBA housemates Kyle and Jeanette, very few recognised her.

A few months later, Mampi arrived to full media reception and a motorcade led by Bobi Wine who drove Mampi in his Escalade! Mampi who was in company of her dancers, was shocked by the reception!

The singer held a press conference on Tuesday morning and she heaped praises on Ugandan artistes for being very talented. Then, someone asked her if she was seriously suing singer Ragga Dee, whose song Switititi sounds just like her Swililili. “I don’t know who he is but I forgave Ragga Dee,” Mampi said amidst a loud applause from the audience. But the Swililili singer contradicted herself she could not interfere with the ongoing works of her legal team, hence, Mampi will still come face to face with Ragga Dee in court!
