Jack Pemba booted out of ASFAs, Cameron Gitawo tipped to step in

The latest information reaching our desks is that the CEO of The Money Team (TMT) a group of socialites based in South Africa is in talks with Brian Ahumuza known to many as Abryanz and the talks are about how he can be part of this year’s Abryan Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs).

According to our source who preferred anonymity, Gitawo initially wanted Abryanz Awards to nominate him in the category of the Best Stylish Celebrity but since he is based far away from Uganda, he didn’t make it on the nominees list during last year’s awards. Gitawo has returned this side and he wants to be part of the event not as a nominee but a sponsor.

“Gitawo is willing to put Shs50M as part of his sponsorship deal and if he all goes well, it is said he wants to give out some awards to some of the winners” our source says.

Speaking to Brian Ahumuza, he didn’t deny being in talks with Gitawo to be part of the ASFAs since it is not confirmed that Jack Pemba will return to sponsor the awards for the second consecutive year.
It is rumoured that Abryanz and Pemba bitterly fell out after the last ASFAs edition.
