Chagga behind bars over Radio and Weasel’s show bookings

For all the years that he has been in the music industry, Chagga has never been behind bars. That record was broken a few days ago when Luwero police arrested him over failure to have his artistes perform.

Chagga was arrested on Thursday and taken to Bututumula hoosegow prison in Luweero after the Goodlyf crew failed to perform in Luweero yet he was already paid for their services.

It is said that the promoter says that he accumulated a lot of losses because of this and because Chagga had received the payment of over shs2million, he was held accountable.

The former Leone Island crew back up artiste is slated to spend the entire weekend behind bars because prisoners are not eligible to be released over the weekend.

What happened is that Chagga received money from a top booking agent in Luwero to have his musicians Radio and Weasel perform but before that could happen, Radio passed on. Even with this incident, the manager didn’t return the money and neither did he have Weasel perform in Luwero.
