Congolese superstar Awilo Longomba is set for the much-anticipated concert dubbed Awilo Longomba live in Kampala on April 5. The star will arrive in the country on April 3 for the concert that will take place at Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall.
The latest we have gathered is that the legendary singer will not only perform at Serena but will also go as far as Arua, the West Nile region of Uganda. It is said that the fans of his music are mostly from the West Nile region and Cents Events, the organisers chose to also take the show to them since they are kilometers away from Serena Hotel.

The Arua concert will be stage on April 7 at Green light stadium in Arua which is the home of Onduparaka, a local football team that hails from Arua.
Awilo Longomba will be performing in Uganda for the second time after 1998 when he came for the first time. The 56-year-old singer is known for songs like Coupe Bibamba, Karoline, Moyen Te, Bundelele and Enemy Solo among others.
