The Zzina Carnival Maximum holiday markers vibes were activated on Sunday during the sensational Zzina Carnival at the spacious Forest Park Resort, Buloba.
Gates opened at exactly 11:00 am and revelers got actively engaged in activities like swimming, boat cruise, and circus among others until 5:00 PM when dozens of upcoming artists took to the stage. Scoop Larma, Elie Bulamu, Flona, Acidic Vokoz, Alpha Times, Biswanka, Mark the Urban, and the beautiful Warafiki trio among others impressively ignited the stage. The Fenon-signed trio was impressive with their Tetubafanana jam and Bwekati, pulling off evoking dance strokes that left Bazinyi mesmerized.
Alien Skin, Vinka, Carol Nantongo, Cindy, Gravity Omutujju, Crysto Panda, Vyroota, Recho Rey, and Dax Kartel thrilled the naughty ‘bazini’ to the point of lifting plastic chairs in the air during every performance.
Dr. Innocent Nahabwe, the brain behind the event said the Zzina Carnival is organized to celebrate Ugandan music and the station’s fans. “I want to thank all the amazing individuals and most importantly our sponsors who made this carnival a huge success!”
Unlike the previous editions, this specific one had renowned sponsors like Stanbic Bank Uganda on board who simplified the ticketing process and subsidized beer prices via the FlexiPay app.

Carol Nantongo’s catalog like Oliwa, Ontuuka, Silwana, Kaweddemu, and her soothing Nyiga Wanno hit song blew the crowd especially the females into the World of emotions.
Kennie and DJ Magic Touch conquered the hype moments from genre to genre. They swayed the audience to dancehall freestyle, Afrobeat, RnB, and the popular hip-hop old-school jams.
At 10:00 PM, there was panic backstage after singer Vyroota fainted on stage with an ambulance coming to his rescue. It was said he had a headache when he stepped on stage. But shortly before the scare, he had made revelers lose their voices as they tried a sing-along moment on Mistake, Risk, Addicted, and the trending ‘Ex Twafuna Sente’ featuring sexy Jowy Landa.
