DJ Mark may be one of the best disc spinners in town but it seems Fame Lounge did not want to know, because news reaching us is that the Acacia-based bar has knifed him. According to sources, the reason for DJ Mark’s sacking is not clear but the reason could be close to the fact that his night has become too popular.
Does that even make sense? Apparently it is common for bars to hire DJs to popularise dormant nights and after the catch up, the DJs are let go.
Could this have been one of the cases or is the bar just looking to replace Mark with DJ Fikie who we mentioned sometime ago had left Laftaz Lounge to move to Fame? Good thing for DJ Mark, his Saturday Night Live show on NBS is still doing great so his bills will be paid.
