With Shs18 million, you can buy an acre of land in one of the prime areas and also start a simple business that you can survive on. But to some people, it’s just money they can use to beautify their teeth.
Well Jack Pempa seems to have come back to Uganda with a clear mission in mind: to become the most talked about man in town or maybe he simply really cares about his looks.
The business man recently had his teeth whitened for a whooping Shs18 million in a dental clinic in Dubai.
Pemba says he got lumineers so he could get a perfect smile for the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards slated for December 8th.
Lumineers are unique ultra-thin (approximately 0.2 mm) and highly translucent, molds that replicate the natural appearance of enamel. The procedure is a completely pain-free way to reshape and permanently whiten one’s teeth.
Once the procedure is completed, there is no post placement discomfort or sensitivity, which means Lumineers will not only look natural but also feel comfortable from the moment they are placed and can last for about 20 years.
So while you are running about looking for Shs30,000 to pay your yaka bill, some people are flying out for Shs18 million dental procedures, not because their teeth have a problem, but because they want them to look prettier. Life can be so unfair sometimes!
