For rapper Gereson Wabuyi, aka Gravity Omutujju, business comes first then family. The singer qualified this assumption when he performed at the Club Mega Fest in Masaka last Saturday even after his father had passed on earlier that morning.
Gravity surprised many fans, who had received the sad news earlier on social media and even sent him condolence messages, when he stepped on stage in Masaka and entertained revellers without a trace of sadness. The Broken English singer put up his usual energetic performance and even afforded a few humorous lines as he engaged the audience.
However, after the performance, Gravity announced the sad news to his fans. ‘’ I am here to pick my balance then head to Butalejja where my father’s body is,’’ the rapper said throwing the crowd into a melancholic mood.
He was on time for his late father Michael Gesa’s burial at their ancestral home in Butalejja District. RIP!
