Jose Chameleone is not known to fancy sports; unless there’s money involved. When he got paid, the Badilisha star gladly accepted the role of the Uganda Cranes Namutima campaign ambassador.
But at the weekend, Chameleone shocked many when, he without hesitation, accepted the role of Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) Ambassador. During his performance at the debut Sports Expo organised at Old Kampala SS by Kampala Central MP – Mohammad Nsereko, the legislator made a request to the Leone Island boss to continue supporting sport in the country.
Nsereko, who recently acquired SCVU, then requested Chameleone to accept to be the team’s ambassador and the singer accepted.
Nsereko was quick to take Chameleone through some of the expectations of an ambassador. “You will need to create sometime and watch matches, attend some training sessions, invite the team to your events and tell your fans to support the team,” Nsereko said. Chameleone still went ahead and nodded his head in agreement before saying; “I can try to do all that!”
