Do you remember this? “Kikati kikati kikati kikati muganda wange.” Yes, that was the signature intro of then famous CBS FM radio presenter Peter Sematimba. Today, Sematimba, (sorry we forget he is a pastor), Pastor Sematimba has his own radio station (Super FM) and it is doing quite well. He also had a stint in politics but was trounced by Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago in the most recent Kampala mayoral race.
And after the political disappointment, Pastor Sematimba has been silent until a few days ago when the former radio star announced his return to the airwaves. Yes, he will be live on the Rubaga-based 88.5 Super FM everyday at 8.30am and at 6.30pm. According to a source at the station, Sematimba will be presenting inspirational skits that will mainly focus on inspiring the youth on how to make it in life.
