The DVD : In the land of women

DVD cover

DVD cover

Because a good number of men have failed to figure out women’s characteristics and what they want, they turn to sour grapping women. That is Carter’s (Adam Brody) status but unfortunately for him, just when he wants to avoid them most, he ends up thrown in a land full of women of all kinds.

His mother, grandmother, his ex-girlfriend, two daughters from the neighbourhood, a teenager and an eight-year-old and their mother, all who are yearning for his attention. He learns that women like to talk about whatever is bothering them and if you listen to them you will be their best friend. They expect you to keep their secrets, minor sweet gestures are important to them, they are emotional beings who need to be treated with patience.

This movie’s portrayal of women is no match for the movie The Women but it tries to capture the important traits if you watch keenly. It is a must watch for all you sour grapping guys because like Carter realises, the female specie is irresistible after all.
