the music video : Do what I say – Hilderman

Hilderman

Hilderman

There are those songs that end before you know it, and this is the case with Dr Hilderman’s latest video, Do what I say. It delivers well on a good concept, rich colours and undertones of feel-good lyrics.

It is a fast-paced dancehall tune that will charm you to the dance floor. The video itself was shot in a nightclub – Nyondo Club- and the concept is as trivial as suiting for the storyline, of ‘Zungulihood’-his company- holding a musical and dance competition where Shs50m is up for grabs.

It is proof of versatility for the self-styled singer, not just in lyrics that are not at all spiritual like is the case with Abita Ebikute and Bill Gates but also ability to step away from his reggae genre.

In this video Dr Hilderman features two dancehall artistes, King Michael and KS Alpha as the judges having the time of their lives checking out different competitors that are giving their best shot at the prize.
It is a one-location video whose entry point shows Hilderman stepping out of a Range Rover Sport to a waiting crowd of fans.

It is a fair budget music video in which the artiste says he sunk approximately Shs9m.
