Top 10 footballer wives at the World Cup

The World Cup is a collection of the best football teams and players from around the globe. The event is also one where we get to see footballer wives and the World Cup routinely brings together some of the best-looking women.

The 2018 World Cup is no different and a number of football wives have assembled in Russia to support their husbands. So, which footballer wives are the hottest at this year’s tournament?

Anna Lewandowski

Anna Lewandowski is the wife of Poland striker Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker has endured a miserable tournament as he failed to find the back of the net in the team’s opening two matches. At least he has had the support of Anna.

Amal Belhanda

Amel Belhanda, the wife of Morocco’s Younus Belhanda typically stays in the background. She has been at the World Cup supporting her man despite Morocco being unable to qualify for the round of 16. Many people expected them to go further according to the many supporters that used their William Hill promo code to bet on them.

Antonella Messi

Antonella Messi doesn’t get a lot of attention but that is what happens when you are married to Lionel Messi. The two married in 2017 but have known each other ever since the football star was six and she was five. It is perhaps the most romantic relationship of all the footballers and their wives at the World Cup. She has always been behind the five times Ballon d’Or winner, even during the hard times when people were speaking about Neymar’s transfer to PSG.

Noemie Happart

Yannick Carrasco married his longtime model girlfriend in 2017. The two have been inseparable and she even relocated to China when the Belgian midfielder moved to Dalian Yifang in January 2018.

Ana Obregon

Hirving Lozano is an up and coming player with the Mexican national team. He is currently on the radar of big clubs around Europe and his wife Ana Obregon has been supporting him every step of the way. The two have been together since 2014 and married when Lozano was just 18. Now 22, the couple has been through every high and low in his career.

Natalie Peacock

It must be the beard, because Australia midfielder Miles Jedinak netted himself a looker. Natalie Peacock and Jedinak have been married since 2010. Peacock isn’t just Jedinak’s No. 1 fan, but she is also a successful fashion model. According to Genting, Australia isn’t favorite for the World Cup, but no doubt Natalie Peacock will support the Australians all through.

Arisa Sato

Arisa Sato is a Japanese model and news weathercaster. She is also the wife of Japan’s hard working defensive midfielder Makoto Hasebe. She has not only been a television presenter since 2008, but she has been cast in Japanese films as well.

Olga Diyachenko

Olga Diyachenko may be from Russia, but she is supporting Nigeria at this year’s World Cup. Diyachenko is the wife of Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel. The two met in 2012, but it took a full year for Mikel to get a date with the Russian blonde. Since then, the couple have been inseparable.

Erika Choperena

Antoine Griezmann may be a recluse off the pitch and so is his wife Erika Choperena. Mrs. Griezmann may shy away from the limelight because she has her own successful career as a child psychologist. Perhaps her mind work helps Griezmann excel as a top-class striker.

Ekaterina Gerun

Russia national team goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev has always been good at catching the football. He also caught the eye of the beautiful Ekaterina Gerun.
