Bobi whines over being denied chance to speak

The newly elected Kyaddondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine has criticized organisers of a function to celebrate 106 years Gayaza Junior School existence for not giving him chance to speak to the guests.

The singer turned politician said he had planned to give tips on ways to improve the education sector only for the master of ceremony to deny him a platform despite his patience at the function where he spent five hours.

“Some people who did not attend the function in person even had their representatives speak,” he said.

At the event, the guest of honour and Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga told parents to give equal opportunities to both boys and girls in schools. He also thanked the school administration for maintaining the standard.
