Maurice Kirya regrets paying no attention in school

Maurice Kirya on Friday visited KFM studios and was hosted by Brian Mulondo and Malaika Nnyanzi the hosts of KFM’s morning show D’ Mighty Breakfast, the Fridayedition is dubbed #SuperstarFriday where Ugandan ‘superstars’ from different fields are hosted to give the listeners a chance to get closer. When Maurice was asked about the quality of the Ugandan music industry He let go, “When we had just started up, there wasn’t too many of our kind, when we were young and Vibrant and we had time to experiment and the people gave us time and space to grow our art and what we had in mind. Now there’s too many artists and it’s good for the music but that means the competition is too tough for every artist. I am very happy for every time there’s new blood in the industry and they are just doing Fwaaaaaa. They are actually putting in some dope stuff and some have picked up beef instead of giving them a helping hand or upping their game. For the last 18 years I don’t have beef with any artist because one, I am vegetarian, two, no one has a reason to attack me, I am the most peaceful guy, I am straight forward, silly so I joke and play around a lot but at the same time I am very careful with my words. In all beef is not important in the music industry right now. All we need for people to work together inspire others. Maybe beef work for others but for me, not to braggart but for if I am to beef with you I am putting you to my level. I don’t care who you are, if you are the most talked or read about artist. On the front pages every day, I don’t how big you are or about your ratings on you tube or wherever but if I am going to beef with you I am putting you at a level I have worked so hard for 15 years for so you better be worth it. Come at me with all the noise you got and I will look at you and buy you a drink because I have worked so hard for this.”

Thank You Maurice, we can gladly tell you that from such comments on national radio, you are calling for real beef friend.

Maurice has a new song titles INSANE, He is shooting the video in two weeks. We will gladly give you an exclusive pictorial before anyone else
