If you are here until the end of this year, you will be able to watch a new television station called Super TV. That’s right, it belongs to none other than the Super FM radio owner and artist-turned-pastor-turned-politician Peter Sematimba. We can exclusively reveal to you that Sematimba has secured the airing licence and his station will go on air in the last quarter of this year.
The radio man has also bought five small radio stations in upcountry towns.

He recently launched his newest property in Western Uganda and he is moving to launch others in Arua, Karamoja, Mbale, Jinja and Gulu. Sematimba has hired the man whose CV reads like a travel brochure in the shape of Joel Isabirye and the top radio programmer has got many heads rolling as he throws down the gauntlet to the old members of staff at the Rubaga Hill-based station.

Isabirye will also oversee the upcountry business set-up in a lucrative deal, we understand.
We are sure that Isabirye knows very well what he does but we can’t assure you that he will be at Super for long. Just saying!
